I would like to use this trip to raise money for Brain Tumour Research and, to that end, I have a JustGiving page:

I raise money in memory of my son-in-law, Nigel. Six years ago, Nigel had started having headaches and imbalances and when his doctor decided to refer him for tests, a brain tumour was found. The surgeons removed as much of the tumour as they could and referred him for chemotherapy and radiation but, before the treatment could start, Nigel died suddenly leaving my daughter Juliet and their two sons, Mikey and Jamie.

Brain tumours are indiscriminate; they can affect anyone at any age. What’s more, they kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this by building a network of experts in sustainable research at dedicated Centres of Excellence whilst influencing the Government and larger cancer charities to invest more nationally.
